Classified Plant Inspections

Wilshaw’s Classified Plant Inspectors are highly experienced and competent in conducting statutory inspections of all your classified plant. Our Classified Plant Inspectors are also available for your ‘duty of care’ non-statutory inspections.

Wilshaw’s inspectors have intimate knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards and Regulations applying to Classified Plant Management. In Western Australia state legislation pertaining to Classified Plant operating on mine sites is covered by:

Mines Safety and Inspection Act 1994 (MSIA – 1994)

The Act covers legislation of operating procedures and rules applicable to all mining operations in WA. This is administered by the Department of Mines and Petroleum (DMP) Resources Safety Division.

Mines Safety and Inspection Regulations 1995 (MSIR – 1995)

The Regulations spell-out details of statutory requirements for all mines operating in WA. The Rules for Classified Plant on mine sites are detailed in Part 6, Division 3, of these Regulations
