1982 STAGED PIT DEWATERING

Due to the expansion of the pit mining operations at the Sunrise Dam Gold Mine a permanent dewatering system was to be installed at RL300 level within the Cleo Pit. As part of the project Wilshaw was commissioned to provide the following:

Budget estimated for the RL300 Pump Station.
Pumping calculations for the water pressure in the discharge pipe.
RL300 Pump Station pipe arrangement.
Detailed design of the staging tank and pump set.
